Different from other high temperature alloys, cobalt based high temperature
alloy is not strengthened by ordered precipitate phase that is strongly
bonded to the substrate, but by solid solution and strengthened austenite
fcc substrate.
 
Cobalt based alloy flat fracture stress-temperature relationship,
but it will show excellent hot-corrosion resistance. Probably
cobalt based alloy has high chromium content, which is one
character for cobalt based alloy.
