What is the difference between titanium plate and stainless
If it is a pure titanium plate, it will illustrate that it is composed of by a chemical element of titanium. Titanium is very light and commonly used in aviation and medical science. And it has good corrosion resistance. So the value of titanium is more expensive.

Stainless steel is much cheaper and the use is also more extensive. Stainless steel is not easy to rust, the reason is that the iron and steel are added to more than 12.5% of chromium. In oxidizing medium, chromium can produce the compact passivation film on the surface of the steel, which can prevent the metal matrix from being destroyed. When the chromium content is more than 12.5%, the stainless steel plate can produce the compact and stable passivation film, the great changes of rust resistance have occurred, and the rust resistance is greatly enhanced, which is reason why the chromium content in stainless steel is more than 12% .

The commonly used stainless steel material is 304 1Cr18Ni9Ti, and the “1” means the content of carbon. “Cr18” means the content of chromium. “Ni9” refers to the content of nickel, and “Ti” refers to the titanium in the titanium plate, which the content is small in the stainless steel.
